Beaufort Bespoke Kitchens is a family run business founded by brothers Jon and Bryan Sandell who, between them, have a combined 50 years of experience in the art of cabinet making.
From humble beginnings, making bespoke furniture from a small workshop in Bristol, we’re proud to have grown our business based on an unparalleled reputation for craftsmanship, proportions and quality. We have created bespoke kitchens and furniture for discerning clients across the globe.
Nowadays, we are located in a modern 10,000 square foot workshop facility conveniently located between Bristol and Bath, where every kitchen we make is hand crafted by our team of talented cabinet makers who share our passion for quality. We have nurtured and grown our team of brilliant craftspeople, and consider ourselves to be one of the best, most experienced and technically skilled teams in the South West. We are committed to keeping these traditional artisan cabinet making skills very much alive and are proud to make continual investment into modern apprenticeships as well as providing ongoing training and skills development within our exceptional team.
The commitment to excellence doesn’t stop there; we’ve made significant investment in the very latest manufacturing equipment and through this we are able to combine cutting edge technology and tools with traditional, artisan cabinet making skills to enables us to provide our clients with kitchens and furniture of unrivalled quality. In fact, furniture that is built to last a lifetime.
What sets us apart is the personal service we offer.
We offer the same personal attention to measuring and designing your kitchen or furniture as we do to making and installing it, leaving no room for discrepancies and ensuring our high standards are achieved every time. We are always proud to welcome clients to visit our workshop facility and to meet the team. Many of our customers enjoy the experience of coming to see their furniture being made.
Jon is known as something of a perfectionist, and that’s putting it mildly! Having trained as a cabinet maker, Jon started his career at Golden Hill Design Workshop in Bristol. With a sharp eye for detail, he is passionate about creating kitchens and furniture of exceptional quality and will personally oversee your project from first discussions right through to installation.
Jon is father to three boys all of which share a keen interest in golf and are active members of Saltford Golf Club. Between them they make something of a team!
When Bryan realised how passionate Jonithan was about bespoke kitchens the two brothers dreamed of having their own company specialising in creating exceptional kitchens with an emphasis on design, quality and customer service. Bryan sold Beaufort Cottage, an old family home in Clevedon to fund the inception of the business, which is where the name comes from.
Outside of work Bryan has been involved with the Scouts, having run his own troop for over a decade where he led specialist pursuits including rock climbing, caving, water skiing and snowboarding. Now in his 60’s Bryan is taking a more leisurely approach to outdoor pursuits and can be found walking, canoeing or paddle boarding. He has always had a passion for cars and motorbikes and has travelled all over Europe as a result of this endeavour.
